A new brand launching online on Dec 1st 2011 called Italia a Ibiza Jeans (Includes Jeans, Skirts, Shorts and Capri pants) caught my attention. A really special collection that caters to the fashion forward, targeted to party-goers, celebrities and socialites. The collection looks elite and used cut-out crystal mesh (see photo below), ivory cut out as petals (see photo below), tiny painted mirrors, textured gem stones, sequences, beads, A+ quality jeweled crystals, earth stones, metallic trims and iron-ons. Impressive?
What made me skip a heart beat was the price.. after seeing such alluring hand-work, good fabric, exclusive pieces and original designs such as those of Roberto Cavalli and the fitting of the likes of diesel, nudie, true religion, J brand, for all man-kind etc. I easily assumed the price to be $500 or a $1000+ even.
But I was wrong, the prices are shockingly between $100 - $150??? Pray that this isn't just a "Market Penetration" or a starting introductory price.
